Kusamba Tunic and Taos Skirt

Carol Heist loves to dye the fabric she sews.  Here she's

done a number of fun things to embellish the Kusamba

tunic and Taos Skirt.

Carol dyed our PFD white rayonthe tunic's right front a pretty

mint green, then stamped the "branches" image onto it in black. 

The imageis the artwork of Lois Ericson and the stamp can be

purchased through her website www.designandsew.com.  The

rest of the tunic is our White Branches rayon batik.

The Taos Skirt by ReVisions was cut into gores and curved strips

of the same mint green rayon were sewn into the gores.
