Kusamba Sample Garment

Bernie Bacon always surprises me with wonderful modifications

to The Bali Collection patterns.  Here she has extended

both fronts of the Kusamba tunic, adding an inside tie for

the left front and extended the "flat piping" trim on the right front

into a tie to close it.  She cut the sleeves down the center and

inserted more "flat piping" into the bottom halves, and cut the sleeves

to 3/4 length.

The Kusamba pants were shortened to crop length and the same

"flat piping" trim was inserted into the side seams at the lower end.

Such a brilliant combination of colors and a very pretty

modification to this basic pattern.
