Carol Heist Sample Garment

The front wedge on our Spice 'n Style #105 top was the perfect background for Carol (Oliphant) Heist to play with fabric paint and rubber stamps. She embellished the wedge further by running some buttons down the front that mimicked the fabric motif.

Grosgrain ribbon stabilized and trimmed the bias front edge of the skirt while several beads at the bottom of the ribbon added a little pizzazz. The side seams of the skirt were set off by top-stitching 1/4 inch from the edge. The same bead as on the ribbon was stitched to each "point" on the
side seam as a weight and decoration.

This outfit is gorgeous!
