Adrienne Yauk Garment

Adrienne Yauk of Longmont, CO purchased the fabric used in this Spice 'n Style jacket at an outlet fabric store, so the fabric's content is questionable (although I believe it's a crinkled poly rayon blend). The white fabric was dyed with rusted nuts, bolts, and metal bars, then embellished with glass beads and with silk ribbon that was dyed with alcohol-based inks. The blouse was displayed at the City of Greeley, Colorado Museum as part of the exhibit, To Spin a Yarn: Regional Fiber Arts Juried Exhibition from April 28th to July 25, 2007.
