Carol Heist Garment

Carol Heist is an active member of the Salem ASG in Oregon. A very accomplished

sewer and talented dyer, Carol love to make every garment an individual statement

of her creativity. In this instance she modified our Cool Touch pattern by shortening

the collar piece because she felt the collar was too tall for her neck and by adding

an embellished pocket.  A separating zipper was inserted into the center front seam.

Our hand-dyed linen blends have plenty of body and weight to accommodate jackets

and coats - in this case it turned Cool Touch into a light jacket.
