Solid Black with Bleach Discharge

This is my first attempt at shibori discharge.

Using a diluted solution of household bleach

I wrapped our Solid Black rayon on a PVC pipe,

tying it as tightly as I could.  This is very time-

consuming!  When I was ready to discharge

the fabric I applied the the bleach solution to

the fabric with a foam brush.  As soon as I could

see the color being removed I quickly immersed

the whole thing in vinegar-water.  This stopped

the discharge process and hopefully set the

color.

I was so pleased with the result - a gorgeous coppery

gold color in an intriguing print.

for showing me shibori!  I have a whole new respect for

this wonderful dye process.

Now...what should I make with this.....?????
